It is very simple: Facts are facts and nothing can change that. It needed Ivan Collendavelloo to say something, which in any case was quite inaccurate, for many people to start thinking about Pravind Jugnauth being made to leave his Prime Minister's post. The facts are very simple:
1/ I cannot think of any circumstance that would lead any of the MSM zombies to vote against the man that has brought them so many laddoos. Many are now so rich that they would never consider saying even 'boo!' to the one who, by hook or by crook, has increased their wealth and standard of living immensely.
2/ We do not have politicians in Mauritius: we have servants of the party leaders who know that their own ineptitude and intense mediocrity could never provide them with the goodies that licking the party leaders' arses brings them. Multiply that a hundredfold with the zombies in the MSM, and you will understand why not one of them will ever vote against their benefactor,
3/ Ivan's calculation is wrong anyway, and if simple arithmetic stymies what he believes to be the immense intelligence that he possesses , then it is good that he no longer flaunts himself with fake grandeur as the Deputy Prime Minister.
4/ Ivan dire, " si 7 depites decider et vote ene motion de blame kont li, c la seule condition kot Pravind Jugnauth nepli Premier Ministre". WRONG! Si 7 depites sot barriere, narien pa sanzer et motion de blame tonber, parski 44 (number of MLA dan gouvernman) tire 7= 37. Lopposition 26+ 7 zombies ki nepli zombies= 33. Alor 37 kont 33, motion perdi!
5/ Meme si sa 2 MLA Rodrigues la vote avek lopposition et sa fer 9 en total, alor 44-9= 35 et lopposition 26+ 9= 35. Guess who comes into play then? Yes, our lovely Speaker who has the casting vote and who will shout, " I order my vote in favour of the Prime Minister! The motion of the opposition is rejected!"
6/ Alor, eski zot vreman koir ki 10 depites MSM pou vote kont zot Bon Dier, Pravind Jugnauth, because 10 is the magic number that is needed in the National Assembly to get rid of him? Mo pa truv oken, blier 10, ki pou fer sa!
7/ Therefore the facts are very simple: The only people who can get rid of this government is the Supreme Court, but only when they decide to remove their fingers from their judicial arses. And even if they rule in favour of the petitioners, i.e. the opposition, then you can bet your bottom dollar that the MSM and Ivan will appeal to the Privy Council. By the time the Privy Council decides, we will be in 2022/2023, i.e. not far off the 2024 elections.
So, please people, stop your wet dreams now. Not one MLA from the government side will vote against Pravind Jugnauth. Not just because he has been their benefactor, but simply because they know they are too stupid to be re elected. Even though they are quite dense, they most certainly know that cutting one's nose in order to spite one's face is too stupid a course of action even for them...
And Pravind Jugnauth will most certainly not resign. He just does not have that democratic fibre in him, and his resignation will mean the loss of the one thing that the Jugs prize the most: ownership of the MSM, as that is the factory that keeps on churning money for them.
Therefore the maja karo must continue non stop for them until the next election, come what may. As for those indulging in wishful thinking, al boir ene bon Saat Samundar, manz ene boutte corne, et sant ene 2 sante plito et plore plorer dan zot verre...
