The obvious question: out of a Royal Saudi family of around 15, 000 assorted princes and princesses, do you really think that they would be desperate or mad enough to want an ignorant, tactless, completely out of his depth Mauritian, who has discovered Saudi Arabia only since 2015, to represent them abroad?
What has happened to the cardinal principle that only the national of a country can become its accredited ambassador? Is our Ayatollah a Saudi National now? Has he got a Saudi passport?
I hope I do not offend any Muslim when I mention the various Muslim groups that are not liked in Saudi Arabia, including the Ahmadiyyas who are a persecuted group and banned from entering Mecca and Medina( although many do quietly...).
Our Ayatollah is supposed to be one, hence the frequent reference to him online as a Qadiani ( insulting word used for Ahmaddiyas).
You think that the Saudis will go against their own repressive policy towards that group and appoint the Ayatollah because he is such a symbol of probity, wisdom, integrity, and intelligence?
