[Paul Lismore] PULL BACK FROM THE PRECIPICE...OR FOLLOW THE THIEVES TO DAMNATION AND RUIN

Rédigé par E. Moris le Jeudi 17 Octobre 2019

Yes, these elections will decide the fate of our country: either stick with a bunch of ne'er do wells who have done nothing but enrich its clan, entrenching corruption and nepotism into our souls, and stealing billions of rupees from us, or hope that someone else can do a better job.

Even if that individual is someone who has disappointed us a lot with the same 'spoilt brat' mentality exhibited to perfection by Pravin Jugnauth, are we that complacent and cynical that we cannot believe that people do change for the better, especially after having successfully overcome some terrible ordeals?

Anyone can point at anything built with the money belonging to us and say with that stupid smile: Ala ene lot bijou ki mo p donne zot! It is like receiving a birthday gift bought with your own money, a dubious act of generosity for which the bastard then expects gratitude and undying love from you.

The worst part? It is when he has borrowed huge amounts of money on our behalf, billions and billions rupees worth of loans which will have to be reimbursed by us, and you know that the amount taken in loans is simply way above the actual costs of the 'bijoux'....unfortunately, Lepep Kouyon becomes too dazzled with the glitter of the fake bijou and rarely asks the obvious question: Kot le res pitaye la in aller? By 'le res pitaye', I mean billions of rupees, our money, which is now being kept very comfortably and safe in some offshore accounts....

You remember the times when politicians and their gangsters used to steal tens of millions of rupees from us?

Compared to what has been happening during 2014-2019, these were small fries, little thieves on the prowl for 'ene ti la monnaie di te". Those were the days, eh? Since 2014, we have had professional thieves and hoodlums in power: gangsters in suits and fake smiles, and with an arrogance that becomes more excruciating the more billions they have stolen from us.

The latest trend of those vainglorious, pompous, stuck up arseholes is to grab a selfie with some poor film star who obviously does not know who the arsehole is, standing next to him/her. That shows how shallow these thieves really are.

These elections will decide the future of this island:

Do we allow one family to continue to behave as if Mauritius belongs to mari zot mama? Or do we take a chance on anyone else but them? As I said before, the only parties who stand a chance of forming the next government are the PTr and the MMM. And I wish the leaders of those 2 parties would encourage their supporters to vote for either of those parties where they clearly have a stronger base, instead of cutting each other up and letting the thieves back in.

I have said it many times: I do not support any political party. You must know that I absolutely hate most of our politicians, although there are one or two who still remain decent human beings.

In that respect, I would love people like Kugan of R& A to be elected (if only to ensure that Rama Sithanen doesn't...), Kalpana Devi Koonjoo-Shah, of the MSM, Nabil Moolna of the MMM, and Fabrice David of the Ptr. And Linley Moothien as Independent candidate in Constituency 1 for showing compassion and warmth seldom seen in many of our compatriots.

Why? Because they are young, highly intelligent individuals who would be successful in any field and do not need politics to add 'glory' to the dull personalities like so of the other candidates. And they do not indulge in the shallow, very annoying talk of the numpties like " Je m'engage" ( only to then tell us some self glorifying nonsense...), or the pretentious hypocrites quoting lovely sayings which are completely opposite to their greedy, acquisitive, bloated, and selfish personalities.

I am mentioning those five as examples of how I wish people would vote: VOTE FOR THE PERSON, FOR WHAT HE/SHE STANDS FOR AS AN INDIVIDUAL!

DON'T VOTE FOR PRETENTIOUS, OPPORTUNISTIC ARSEHOLES!

Yes, this is for you Nilen sipaki, and those who call themselves 'artists' even though all they do is put some music on and talk crap, and mediocre singers who are not fit to walk the same ground as Ti Frer or Serge Lebrasse. Do you really believe these specimens will look after you if they are elected? or will they compete with each other regarding who has got the bigger kalchoul in la cuisine?

So, the future of the island is really in your hands. Stop being stupid and vote because "zot in donne moi sa"!

NOU LEKONOMI DAN INTENSIVE CARE UNIT! ARETE TIRE PLIS DISAN! VOTE POU OUVER LA CLE VRAI DESTIN NOU PAYS. LAISSE ZOT LEKER BAT FORT POU LAVENIR NOU PAYS!
